  • Back in Business!!!

So I've been somewhat MIA around here and fishing wise, but I should be good to go now.

I just moved into my new townhouse in Annapolis so that was really time consuming and I've also been trying to finalize all the sponsors contacts for our upcoming CBKA Tournament, which is going to be awesome!!!!!

So now that I have my yak with me in Annap, I'm ready to fish. Any Anne Arundel guys want to hit up some local freshwater on Thursday morning. maybe show me some of the local lakes/ponds. let me know!!

That good to hear, Matt. I think I passed you on Rt. 2 yesterday, and I was wondering where you were heading. Congrats on the new place, too.

I'll see you at the tourney, Matt- I have been out of business too due to travel and work...my travel schedule this year is awful.

Matt, I haven't fished any local lakes/ponds, but I'd be happy to take you out for some perch, pickerel, and small rock on the upper Severn if you'd like. Actually, based on my catches lately, you may also find some smallmouth, bluegill, or the occasional catfish.

            Matt,
Congrats on the new house. When's the Party?
I'm not really up on the fresh water fishing spots but there is a lake near Laurel, Cash Lake. http://www.fws.gov/northeast/patuxen...ng_refuge.html
Looks interesting but I have not been there yet.
Also, Wye Mill Pond over on the eastern shore is fishable from the yak. I've caught cats, blue gill and bass there.

Congrats on the new place! I havent really checked into a lot of freshwater fishing in the area other than wading the patapsco and middle patuxent. There are a lot of small to nice sized smallmouth, rock bass, bluegill, and even largemouth. As far as lakes, I've fished on rocky gorge on a friends boat, but have only had moderate success.
