Fish?? Everyone should be going for crabs... just find 80' of water and drop a crab ring on a 20' rope... guaranteed success.

You guys ain't gonna catch squat. The fish will not bite. Waste of time. May as well stay home, but if you just want raffle prizes, then come to the tournament....lol....

I hear that trophy sized rock are being caught around the ships moored off of Annapolis. That's a doable paddle from Camp Wright. See you all out there?

On a very serious note, are fermented malt beverages "permitted" at the camp?

I am signed up and my buddy canceled out on me. I am fairly new to the bay fishing and would like to tag along with someone else, or a group. I need people to give me some pointers and hang out with at night. I am off all week, so I can show up Friday.
"If you can't have fun doing it, it ain't worth doing." ... or you're just doing it wrong.

There will be plenty of people to hang with and fish with. I'm sure there would be plenty of people that wouldn't mind you tagging along on the water..

You'll be fine in the bay and I doubt anyone will have a problem with tagging along. That's how we learn.

Absolutely... I'll be on the water early Friday and hanging out at night. Not sure if any of my pointers are worth anything but you're welcome to them.

If you want some real pointers, check out these links:

                        - http://www.chesapeakelighttackle.com/ : Sean Kimbro has great success at the BB on light tackle... perfect for kayak fishing.
                        - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy1-__nLQ4Y : ComeOnFish video... one of many... never met the man but I can tell he knows how to fish.
                        - http://www.snaggedline.com/showthrea...8-BB-21-August : Latest good fishing report I've seen on MKF from the BB... I hope Fred Driver's not coming to the tournament Just kidding, I might just follow him around, haha.

Ooops, what kind of smack talk is that...

The monster tog and sheepshead that live around the Bay Bridge pilings love, love, love fresh king crab and lobster. I suggest you guys clean out the lobster tanks at your local grocery stores and bring them to camp. Drop one of those giant cockroaches down and you're GUARANTEED SUCCESS!

If they don't catch we can always eat the bait

I donate my kayak to anybody who catches a fish on a whole lobster.
