i had a pair of costas n loved them until a freak accident in my garage where cabinets fell on them off the wall

but kaenon is the style i am going to get this time, rated the best polarized sunglasses, and ive seen many pro athletes wearing them..

i was watching the the Os n Rays game the other night n spotted out atleast 25 pairs from both teams. plus all the pro fisherman are using them now

The kaeonons are nice, but the lenses in the ones I have are not dark enough for me, do not block out enough glare. I love the costas.

After the recent discussion about polarized glasses, I did a little research. I happened to find the $70 Hobies on sale for $45 at a sunglasses store in Rehoboth. In speaking with the salesman he told me that I would not "see" any better with the more expensive Costas or Mauis. The build quality improves but the polarization is the same and they wouldn't block any more glare. He let me try a few pair on and go outside to see what I thought. If there was any difference between the Costas and the Hobies, I could not dicern it. At the end of the day, I went home with a pair of Hobie aviators and in fishing with them for the past several weeks (and driving) I can't believe I waited 30 years of my life to get a pair of polarized glasses. It's incredible what you can see with them. When you put them on, tilt your head 90 degrees so you can see the glare and then look at an object with glare normally and you can see what the glasses are doing for you. It's easy to see driving down the highway. Look at the rear windows of the cars passing by and you'll find that you can't see into the car itself if there is glare on it, until you put your glasses on and you can see right through. The same thing goes for a fish in the water.
