  • Mid-November Kayak Road Trip

So I'm trying to work out a 2 week road trip with the yak to a number of locations along the east coast. Leave the 8th and return the 20th or 21st....

Stop 1 (Nov. 9): Pensacola Area to fish the salt with Brandon Barton and crew

Stop 2: Orlando for some Bass fishing (Anyone fish Lake Toho or Kissimee and want to fish)

Stop 3: Maybe the Jacksonville area

Stop 4: Charleston, SC for some Salt action (who wants to hit the water)

I will probably not fish on the days I plan to drive so that I'm not to tired. And I will probably be in the florida locations for multiple days.

    Who wants to come!!!

get your time off to your bosses and lets hit the road...

I can probably help you with Charleston. I'd recommend you connecting with Marty in Pensacola if you can. I can't make the trip but it sounds awesome!
    Used to fish more.

I think I replied to you on KBF, but I will be in Wilmington NC from 11/21 -23 and then in Charleston SC from 11/24 -11/26. If you will be around those areas then, I should be able to go out with you as I will have my kayak. Let me know.

Enjoy yourself, Matt- you only live once- wishful thinking on my part- I am trying to figure out a way to fish down in the Outer Banks of NC this fall for some awesome speckled trout action, but I probably will stick here and fish for the large fall rockfish...hard to leave good fishing for some great fishing-

Yeah Marty and Brandon fish together regularly now down there, and they are both Hobie guys too. I'm hoping marty comes up for TKAA so I can pick his brain some about my trip.
