The ramp is open 24/7, disregard the sign that says the park closes at dusk, that only applies to the play park and parking lot above the ramp. There are no fees for launching either.

What time are you heading out? If I get off work early enough on Friday I will more than likely be out there.

    Good Luck!

Tides are very important at the creek- fish the wrong tide cycle and you would swear there are no fish in that body of water- catch it right and it is some of the very best fishing on the east coast- some monster fish are there waiting for you to throw a bait to them-

i fished there sunday and not even a single bite, had 50 some boats in that little creek, all fishing the same grass and wood all over the place.. 100 boat bass fishing tourny and winning weight for 5 fish was 12 lbs.. which is pathetic for the potomac.

buddy of mine fishes this place religiously, said the bite will be VERY slow for atleast another 2 weeks because its in a transition stage... bring chicken livers with you is what he told me with a straight face

Take a paddle yak and get back in the Lilly pads, deep- fish an out going tide with weedless plastics and Real Target Frogs- use heavy braid and lock the drag- set the hook like you are trying to break your rod
