I just picked up a few boxes of these http://www.amazon.com/Glad-Quick-Lar...lad+trash+bags along with a pack of http://www.amazon.com/Black-Zip-Tie-...words=zip+ties

I went with the large size to give myself a little bit of maneuvering room and the ties give me a nice snug fit. I just tuck the bag into my wading belt and use another bag to make sleeves. I can usually get 3 trips outta each bag! And If I get too hot I can just pop a few holes in the neck line.

do u tie the zip ties around your neck to get a good seal? do you use two or just one? do u use smaller trash bags for booties?

Oh no no... I should have clarified for the neck I like to use a rubber innertube and tie a double windsor knot. It allows for me to get it off quickly and look pretty spiffy in the process. And if I see the trolling bite is on I can quickly fashion a toob and wurm. For my feet I tried to use bags on them but my toes kept poking through after I caught my first SAMwich of the day due to excitement. So I just saran wrap my Wool sock, double wrap, you don't want to go cheap with your feet. This year I might customize it and use orange spray paint to put a MKF on the back. Increased visibility!

Is that sock part of the pants? Or do you have to buy socks separately? What socks did you buy? What kind of wet shoes/booties do you use? Does water leak under the pants cuff?

MTYM, your post still makes me laugh...

I have those pants. The socks/booties are connected. You'll have to wear sandals that are easy to slip in with like Crocs to protect the booties. They are breathable but I do still sweat in them so wear the athletic socks (dri fits, under armor) underneath them in the winter to keep warm and dry.
