Hunted Thursday and Friday in Harford county. Didn't have much luck. Passed on a little doe that probably would have dressed out less than 40 lb. Hopefully the weather will be better for you tomorrow. It was windy on Thursday and windy and rainy today. Not many deer moving. Headed down oc this weekend, hope to do some surf fishing.

I would like to go bow hunting, but I'm renting a small 2nd floor place at the moment and have no room for a meat freezer. The ice box in the fridge I'm using now is like..15" big. Fish meat alone fills it up.

my youngest son (10 yo) passed hunter ed this year. held him out of school Thursday morning, I was not 100% sure he was ready but he did keep 3" groups at 50 yards and 8" at 100 yards last week at the range, but doing that on deer from a stand is another story.
1st deer through he could not find in the scope (10 min after legal light), and it winded us and trotted off.
The next one at 50 yards he squeezed off a shot, through the heart. same thing 20 min later.
(Kayak content) - the 2 boys are pestering me to get weedles frogs and go back to Mattawoman!
