BassMoore and I fished a tiny private pond yesterday. The pond is only 5' deep at it's deepest point. We fished in the middle of the day with almost no cloud cover. I caught 3 and Zach caught 5. We used primarily top water poppers. My biggest was about 1 1/2 pounds which is my new best since I'm new to fresh water. I think we could have really scored if we could have been there during morning or evening hours. After 2 weeks away from the yak, I was Jonesing for some time on the water.
