Good luck to the guys heading out tonight, hopefully you do better than we did last night. Not much of anything to speak of. The only cool part of the night was all the fish that were hanging around the lights in the water by the Hemmingways pier. However, most of the fish there were babies, the biggest I could manage was about 14".

Pic from last night... It was fun watching the fish chase the lure.

We covered a good 6 miles, including heading all the way out to the rock pile. We were under the south span when we heard what we thought was rain. Turns out the bajillion birds sitting underneath the bridge structure above us decided to make it rain...<insert witty comment here>

It was nice meeting you out there MetroMan and mytmouse. I launched from sandy point and worked my way out to the east rock pile, where I met Metro and mytmouse, so between our two groups we covered the whole bridge and didn't get much to show for it.
I pulled a handful of dink stripers, biggest 14", and a couple fat perch from around the east rock pile, and got bites from oyster crackers around the western rock pile.
It was cool being out there at night, though.

You guys did better than me. You got dinks, comraderie........and birds...ha...ha
Anyway, I was on the water from G-dock at 0700 hrs Sat. Jigged pilings from depth 7 to 80+ feet with delicious jighead/chartruese bkds searching for stripers. Nothing, not even a measly dink of any sort. Completely skunked.2015 Hobie Outback (yellow)
