Anyone know where the catch and release form is on dnr's site? The only link i found isnt working and keith lockwood hasnt responded to neither of my emails.

Idk about online, but for the CPR citations I've gotten I still just take to a tackle shop and get them registered. -
It's gone... I think they got overwhelmed by the number of Red Drum citation requests they got this year and decided to accidentally lose the form. The DNR website is a bit out of date regarding catch and release citations. If you look at http://www.dnr.state.md.us/fisheries...enge/index.asp under item #1 you see a link to an online form for catch and release. I tried using that last October after catching my first citation perch. I never heard anything from DNR about the submittal. Now DNR has broken the link to that form.
The correct procedure is to take either an actual fish or a photo of the fish next to measuring device (for the catch and release category) to a certified award center (http://www.dnr.state.md.us/fisheries....asp?p=centers). The award center will register your fish, keep part of the form, and hand you a receipt that includes a number. You then go home and submit the receipt plus a photo to Keith Lockwood at DNR. I set my information to Keith using regular mail delivery rather than electronically. When I did that following my January 1 catch, I received my citation pretty quickly.
I don't know Keith but do know his colleague Marty Gary. I have expressed my frustration to Marty about having a website that is difficult to understand and directions that cannot be followed.John Veil

With the receipt they give you after you check the fish in at the tackle shop you should just follow the directions on the receipt to complete your citation. online they give you an option on whether the fish was catch and release or not, and an option to submit a photo.
It is really simple if you just follow the link and directions on the ticket.Comment
