I am happy to share what I know about the bay from my experiences last year. It is much different than fishing down here, seems like fish are and can be everywhere, bunker are HUGE, and there are very few boats once you get out of the channel. It's hard to believe this place is so close to NYC!

Sign up now and the first 75 participants receive a Captain's bag! Last year I got a hobie fishing bag, a tube and worm from Kayak Carl, some gulp, and various other odds and ends. The tube was my most successful lure last year and I was glad I got one in my bag. Some people got hogy's and others got some other lure I can't remember.

For those of you that do show up and you want to stop by for some good eats and some good ball busting, I'll be setting up near the ramp with the East Coast Kayak Fishing Team (ECKF) We're going to have a small compound of campers set up to block the wind. Look for me in a White GMC Suburban.

Boss just gave me the okay to go, I should be leaving Northern Va around 9:30 Thursday morning to avoid beltway rush hour and NY rush hour!

No one is allowed to camp near the water, so we are going to be set up in the corner closest to the hanger, My Sub, a 4 door red Ford pick up, a white Ford Expedition and a big ol' RV Trailer.
