I got a 7.5' casting blank early in the morning. I remembered this from last year. This year I had some money set aside for a few blanks. However, most of what they had would have been duplicates for me. I was looking for a surf blank and a few inshore blanks. Maybe later in the season. Last year they had a good sale about at new year also.

I am rebuilding my rod wrapper. I have a few blanks to build over the winter.

#@$%!!!!!!! Can't believe I missed it! I'm building rods for my nephews for Christmas (5 and 11 y.o.). Picked up a couple solid blanks from a friend. However, I could have used the sale for guide sets...or for another rod for myself!
