fishing recommendations?

Hey guys i cant decide where to fish. I was thinkin either eastern shore tuckahoe and mayb wye mills and mayb kent narrows on the way back or just piney run or loch raven. Ive heard reports for all places just cant decide where to gfo for monday. Any ideas? Fishings been so hit or miss for me im really not sure. Thanks guys

FYI, the boating season at Piney Run is over so you can cross that one off your list.

ive heard rumors that next year all reservoirs will be permit fished only.. meaning the boat u have a permit to. can ONLY be used in those waters.. DNR has been notified to ticket or confiscate your vessel if caught else where...

Such incredibly anal-retentive management of all the reservoirs here in md, it's fascist. The reservoirs are a lousy fishery anywhoo, my two cents.

You could try the magothy river, I have heard good things about the winter bite. Make sure you buy the parking/launch permit. Tight lines and favorable winds.

you know if you want to fish the maggothy for big perch, yellow and white, and pickerel just launch at my parents place.

Yeah true. Im fishin on bank from piney. Park at the gate and walk in. But yeah zach im pretty sure thats already into effect. U gotta get a permit and can only use it in certain reservoirs. That goes for jon boat kayak etc. Pineys got some good fishin and ive limited out on yellows and crappie from the bank

It's not an MD law so the DNR has no jusisdiction ......... it's an agreement that you sign with the City of Balto and the only thing they can do is to rescind your sticker. That rumorhas been around for years ....... decades

The only anal 1's are the 1's controlled by Balto City ....... Loch Raven, Liberty and Prettyboy ........... others are just fine .........

the rumor is ALL reservoirs are now moving to this rule. starting of January. like i said idk how much truth is behind it. But a regular customer at bass pro was telling me this on Tuesday.

its all about getting more money out of people. and i agree with a previous post these reservoirs aren't even good enough to dedicate 1 boat to. i know of about 20 ponds, and 3 rivers and 40 lakes that are better... longer drive. but better quality fish all around

Zach ....... what are "all" of te reservoirs? There is Prettyboy, Loch Raven and Liberty all owned by Balto City. They all have permits and you sign a worthless document saying you won't use it other places. This is not a MD law so the DNR has no jurisdiction other than reporting you to Balto City and they won't because they don't want to have to go to court to testify. There's Piney Run ...... again not state controlled. Then there are the others that don't care. So what are they talking about? which reservoirs?

It's not true ......... well partically true ........ all the 1's you mention already require permits

If you go to tuckahoe, will you be fishing the state park or tidal waters? And on Monday will this be morning hours? I may meet you on the water in the am. For some bass and pickerel
