Hey guys i was doing some research on calvert cliffs fishing and it looks like people do pretty good there. I read the closest way to the beach is 1.8 mile hike. Theres gotta be another way or mayb a free ramp somewhere? Thinkin of puttin the yak in sometime in the spring mayb for rock and shad. Any ideas? I see people fishin from boat there but no idea on where to launch. Mayb theres a launch further up or further down and ya paddle up? Hopefully ill have a fish finder installed by then also. Thanks for any help guys.

I have seen the Calvert Cliffs launch post for several years now...no one has ever come up with any good launch sites close- the hike is a long one and the situation is rough for anyone wanting to launch a kayak close to Calvert Cliffs-"Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS

This place rents cabins and has access to the beach. It is a good location to look for fossils.

Look at the tab labelled Day Visit -- it lists kayaking as one of the possible activities. It would be wise to check in advance if you can bring your own kayak or need to rent from them.John Veil

this is one of Capt. Brady bounds posts about his ferry service, I'm not sure if it has the price in there, but his prices were very good if I remember correctly. his contact info should be in there as well.
