The season typically ends on the 15th of Dec. Although I recall that 2-3 years ago DNR extended the season through the 31st.

I gave it one last shot this morning at the BB. Left out of SPSP at sunrise and fished for a few hours but got skunked. My fish finder wasn't working which didn't help. It wasn't till I got home that realized it had broken loose off of the hull. Looks like I will have to wait till next year.

Well atleat you gave it a try! I still believe the best through-hull mounting method is duct seal.
