The party went well. My wife and daughter got a sheet cake at Grauls grocery. It was beautifully decorated and included a Matchbox pickup truck towing a boat on a trailer.

I received many birthday cards, but one of these definitely stood out above the rest! We have all seen the cards that play music or other sounds when the front cover is opened. But I had never before seen one that combines sound and mechanical movements. From a technology standpoint, it was impressive. Plus the subject is one that should make you laugh.

I posted a video of the card playing at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80085BaweiA

The most unusual gift was a bottle of vodka with an unusual name on the label.
