Down Imaging. Worth the extra cash?

I like the DI (I use a Elite 5DSI). I like how the DI cuts out the clutter of fish vs. Debis.

Will DI help fishing in tog/flounder in the middle of CBBT. The bottoms of some places are very obvious - such as First Island and CHSP Rock Piles. But I assume that bottoms around some CBBT pilings are different from each other. Some piling hold more construction debris than others. Could you identify small construction debris and small artifical reefs by using DI clearly?
