Caught 2 short rock on 4 inch rubber shad. Met a guy fishing the wall at Hemmingways and he tells me a story about a nice kayaker he met last week. Says Jim gave him a nice striper and he really enjoyed it. He asked me to say thanks to Jim. Nice job Jimbo they had a great dinner on you.

Went out on Saturday off of APG and it was nice until the wind started to pick up around 0930. Only caught 2 small strippers about 10-13 inches. Several boaters out there but from what I saw nobody was having any luck throwing shad assassins or any other artificial lures. Has anybody ever fished off the Susquehanna National Wildlife Refuge Island? I was wondering if it is worth the effort to kayak way out there and throw some lures.
