Very Cool... I "think" I want one... Just think of the vacation to an international destination. You could still fish in Belize and not have to ship your YAK!!! I"m not sure whether to be shocked or want to buy it. I hope someone in our area decides to sell them. How much do you think they would cost??? I wonder why someone hasn't thought of this sooner...Interesting to say the least...

Reminds me of a folding canoe I built back in the day, when folded up it fit in the back of my Xterra

I fished for an entire season in 1998 using an 13' Avon semi-rigid rollup floor inflatable boat. I could deflate and roll the boat up into a large duffle bag and place it in the back seat of my Camry. I put an 8-hp motor and fuel tank in the trunk and could go anywhere I wanted to. It had fold-up wheels on the wooden transom. I inflated it in the parking lot, attached the motor, tilted it up, and rolled the boat down the ramp to the water. Once in the water, I folded the wheels up out of the way and headed out. If I balanced myself just right using a PVC pipe as a tiller extension, I could get on plane and hit 15 mph. It was fun for a year, but I realized I needed something more substantial, so I bought a 17' center console Scout the next spring.

There are lots of ways to get on the water -- all are compromises in one sense or another.

I wonder what would happen if a boat were to hit this thing on the bay. With all the crazy boaters on the bay that might be something we need to put into consideration haha.
