Licence Regristration?

This is my first time buying a licence...I heard about an agreement between Maryland and Virginia for the salt water and am wondering where I register.

Any tackle shop should do it or go to http://dnr.maryland.gov/service/fishing_license.asp. MD and VA have a reciprocal license, meaning you can fish shared waters, AKA the Chesapeake Bay and anything tidal. I'd suggest that you get a VA license since it's actually valid for a year from the date of purchase. MD's license is only good till Dec 31st of the current year.
