What's the word on Allen's Fresh?

I wonder if the yellow perch have started showing up in Allen's Fresh yet? It's a spot that I have always wanted to fish, but I always seem busy around the run. Has anyone heard a report/ driven by recently?

I chatted up Keith Lockwood of DNR at the Pasadena Fisherman's Association Fishing Show and Flea Market at Earleigh Heights on Sunday, the 18th. He and his associate there said that the run will be starting in about a week. So, keep your eyes open for reports. Good luck!

Fished Allens Fresh on Friday and tried all the usual places and found no fish. Last year they were already moving upstream at this time. Cold and inconsistant weather have them later this year. Look for that to change with better weather this week. Should be downstream of the bridge by Sat.
