I'm looking for a wetsuit to purchase. Was looking at a size 3/2 in a full size suit. Looking for a basic all around suit for early and late in the year fishing. Any ideas? Would that be a good thickness and be good in cold water?

As far as I know, most MKF members who fish throughout the winter wear full dry suits or dry tops over chest waders. Most do not wear wetsuits. I don't know why that is. Before buying a wetsuit just for winter kayak fishing, you should search back through some older threads. MKF member Southerly has used wetsuits in his windsurfing days. I think he has tried them with his kayaks too. I hope he can weigh in here.John Veil

I thought about wearing my chest waiters but I'd be worried I guess for some reason I went over they would fill quick. They aren't neoprene. But I would be able to move easy while on the yak. I'm not sure how easy it would be moving around well with a wetsuit though while sitting and fishing on the yak. That cold water hurts! Ha ha2014 Hobie Dune Outback

Definitely chest waiters and a dry top.. I dove for a little over 10 years. In 10 years I had 2 custom wet suits they where nice for diving but they would not be comfortable for kayaking...Plus you would look funnyMike and son Jeffrey Yellow Hobie Pro Angler
