  • Fishing this weekend

The weather report is looking a little unpleasant this weekend, but I have a pass for Sunday and plan to get out since my yaks stayed on the rack last weekend. I'm considering Mattawoman creek, anyone else interested in fishing there Sunday? I will target whatever will bite.

Mustaffa, Rockchaser and myself are meeting at the Murry's off of 495 at exit 11a (Route 4) at 7:15-7:30am on Saturday...rain or shine. We will fish Jug Bay for awhile, if it sucks, then we will head to Mattawoman. Anyone is welcome to join. Tidal license is all you need.... free parking for in out out of state car tags. Shooting for anything that will bite......Just let us know so we can wait for you or look out for you.

On Sunday morning, I may try the Woodrow Wilson Bridge for Cats, and to make sure Rockchaser does not sink his boat.

Does that area require a DC license? Do you launch from Jones Point Park? I might be interested since thats a little less of a drive then Mattowoman

I am doing a walk-on trip with Walleye Pete to the CCNPP rips on Sat morning. He still has space available for Sat and Sun if anyone is interested.

Yes it is DC waters at the bridge. You can get a DC license for $13.00 on line.

Sunday sounds like nicer weather, but I will be back at BWI on my way to Houston again that morning.
