I have been keeping my eye open for a decent price on a Revo Toro for about eight months, but no deals have been coming my way- I found a good deal on a Lexa 300 so that will just have to do- it has a decent review and it has the big drag and high line capacity to handle cow stripers and bull reds, so I think I'll be satisfied with the Daiwa-

I haven't put mine through all its paces... But its a beast!! I think you will be pleasently surprised after using it. Upon first inspection though, I thought it looked kinda cheap. But I guess they cut back some things to keep the price point low considering the class of reel you're getting.

Looks nice. Wow, twice as much drag as a Shimano Curado E 300 (29 vs 15 lbs), for less money.

Yeah, fellas- I had my mind made up on the salt Toro, but it didn't offer a penny of discount- list price was list price and we all know what a markup there is on fishing tackle- Haddrell's Point Warehouse had a deal on the Lexa 300 at $153.00 and free shipping, so I figured that was a pretty decent deal-"Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS
