FYI, the Elk Neck State Park launch site opens at 9:00 am while the Perryville Community Park Launch site opens at 7:30 am.

I should be in for Monday, I will be launching from Tydings to get an early start. It wasn't bad today, lots of bass boats in the morning, but the launch cleared quickly. It was really bumpy out there when the winds were up, couple tsunamis took me for a ride. Sunday is looking windy, hopefully they will die down for Monday.

I could get there around 6am, and get on the water by dawn. Yesterday was first time on the flats, just wanted to get the routine down before the jamboree. If the Cecil side is a less paddle and puts us on the fish, I am game. I just like getting an early start (always feels like I am missing out if I am on the water after the sunrise).

Let me know what you think...toll fee and launch fee on Cecil side...I would like to invite Goody once we settle on location.

Sounds like Dsmero (possibly Goody) and myself are launching out of Tydings Monday at Sunrise. We are going to paddle across with some lures in the water.

Going to hit the Flats Tuesday morning when I get off shift at 0800. If anyone sees a red F250 driving up and down the shoreline at the VA, that will be me keeping an eye on ya. Old man on the other shift and a friend in a power boat caught 54 in about 6 hrs of fishing on Saturday with the biggest being 12 lbs on the southern end of the Flats. They putted around till they found the warmest water they could find and beat them up. He also showed me a pic of a 20" large mouth. Its like waiting for Christmas!!!!!

I will be putting in on the Northeast across from Anchor marine tomorrow (Tuesday). Hope the fish are biting.

Elk Neck Tuesday

I'm probably fishing the flats on Tuesday from Elk Neck park. Last year they usually had the gate open before 9 but I don't know how early they open it.
