Fats fishing 4/6 & 4/7

Planning on hitting the flats for Sat n Sun from early am til 1pm both days . Gonna launch at tidings. If anyone feels hooking up I'll be out there on vhf channel 77. Originally I jumped on the train with Steve m to go on the flats but it was during the week I couldn't make it. So the weekend weather is looking alright so gonna see if there biting . I'm ready n looking forward to fishing!

Too far for me to drive this early in the season-I am thinking just the opposite- as it has been a exceptionally cold March (more like January or February) I am thinking the fish are delayed a few weeks but the urge to spawn moves them into the Bay, so Sunday I am headed out of PLO for some early season striper fishing-

I might be game for Sunday. Forecast is calling for a high of 68 with 15mph winds from the south. Haven't see any reports of people catching but might be worth a shot. At least it will give me an excuse to test out my sail
