PA 12 Or 14

I have a freind contemplating buying a hobie pa 12 or 14 do any of you hobie guys know if there is a big difference between the 2. My freind is leaning towards the pa 12 he goes about 250 would the 12 be any less stable for him or should he go with the longer boat PROs and CONs thanks

you loose considerable amount of space upfront, and a few inches in the back. the biggest thing is the front hatch is about half the size.

the middle of the hull is the exact same, as far as measurments go. but if ur looking to store stuff. go with the 14.

another plus is the 14 has 6 rod holders, the 12 has 4

I'm with BassMoore on the 14.. You don't save a hole lot with the 12 it's only 18lb lighter/ the 14 is actually only 13.8 but 2in wider and the capacity is 100lb more.
