  • Video Editing Software Suggestions Wanted

I see some very well made video clips online. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best type of software to edit video? I use an Apple Macintosh if that makes a difference. Thanks All

I think Mac's come loaded with video editing software called Imovie. It should do most of the kind of editing you'll need for website videos. Here's a link on how to use it: http://www.apple.com/findouthow/movies/

If you have a mac, iMovie is great and really intuitive. There's also final cut pro which is more advanced. I use Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12.

+1 for the youtube tutorials for everything. I am so thankful for those!

iMovie is really good. You can look into Final Cut Pro, but it's far from cheap/free. And it isn't intuitive at all. FWIW, I believe that Rob Choi uses it(iMovie) for his vids.

Sony Vegas is another popular choice. It's fairly cheap too @ $70 on AMazon

+1. Thats what I started with. The updated version was renamed to Movie Studio. Sony still offers Vegas, but its super expensive now.

I use Adobe Premiere, which does a nice job.
