  • Rocky Gorge

    Went fishing out on Rocky Gorge yesterday saw lots of nice size large mouths but they would not bite. I through everything at them nothing any of you old timers no any secrets that you would give up?

    Got to get them with a reaction bait. Or if you were able to see them they probably seen you too and were spooked

          If I see big largemouths "cruising the shoreline" this time of year I will start throwing a weightless plastic worm or a lizard. They are not locked onto a spawning site yet, you just see them swimming along shallow parallel to the shoreline. Noisy, rattling lures or spinnerbaits tend to spook them. I will throw the worm up onto the shoreline and drag it into the water.
