  • New Kayak!

Thanks to Delaware Paddle Sports my new Jackson Cuda arrived this morning! Originally I was leaning towards the forest camo, but decided something that is slightly more visible might be a better option.

    /edit

It might be time to rake the leaves behind the house. In my defense I just got here 8 days ago.

Beautiful looking yak. I wish I had a huge garage and plenty free time, because there are so many nice yaks out there now that I would love to use from time to time. With a large garage, I could securely keep my fleet to use at a whim.

You see leaves where I see mulch, but then I'd rather be fishing.
      Nice looking kayak.

Thanks! I almost feel like a kid at Christmas. You reminded me that I've got to make room in the garage. ugh

If I were to get a paddle-type yak again, I would get that one because of that comfortable seat. Congrats!

            Haha

I went out to SPSP the other day to fish the various jetties. While there I started watching the waves and current and started thinking about adding a trolling motor instead of trying to paddle through that.

That is a nice looking kayak -- congratulations. It is laid out similarly to the Native Slayer, which I was able to test last week in Florida. Having a comfortable seat is a very desirable asset for a boat in which you will sit for long periods of time. The Cuda seat looks quite nice. I hope you enjoy it.

I have a Cuda 14 and absolutely love it. I am obviously biased but I would say you made a great choice. Word of caution when the seat is in the high position you feel a little tippy but does not take long to get use to it.

Very nice. A buddy of mine picked up the same yak over the weekend. It was either that or the Tarpon 120.
