Ridiculous Smallie -Liberty Reservoir

Got out of my Hobie for this one. 5 lb smallie. Caught in 3-4 feet of water- over gravely/ rocky coastline. 7.5 inch pumpkinseed Culprit worm-Texas rigged. Best smallie so far but I know there are many of these and even 6 pounders in there. Liberty Reservoir is beautiful - plenty of bald eagles and fish. Largemouth bass are heating up real nice too. 3-5 lb cruisers all up and down the banks. PS- my arm was still sore from catching 30 Hickory Shad at Fletchers Cove the day before.

Liberty is my favorite ........... it's absolutely beautiful ......... turkey deer Eagles beaver geese ......... some places you'd swear you were in the Canada ........ fishing can be great ........ crappie bass trout ......... and stripers to 50 lbs .......... bass can be big too ......... but Liberty doesn't give easily sooooo BIG CONGRATS on the pig ........
