Yesterday was a very frustrating fishing day for me, I had 1 bite in 6 hours, while my dad caught 10 bass.
Water was calm, hit the outgoing tide, and fished the lower 2 ponds and the bridge.
Biggest fish was about 3.5 lbs and was bedding due from the blood on the tail.
They slammed a texas rigged culprit plum crazy worm. "my dad swears by this color". and so do i.
I used it for a while had one fish one but had the tail and just pulled the worm down.
I tried to drop shot for the longest time, and a brush hog but had no success.
If anyone is ever interested in getting pulled around in a kayak by a big fish, i suggest going there and carp fishing.. MONSTER carp in there. Atleast 20-40 lbs.
