Upper Potomac Level

Just checked the on-line gauge recordings for Point of Rocks. Height was 2.66' and Discharge was 6.920 CFPS. If I launch at Lander, would you guys consider the paddling to be difficult or dangerous now. I want to get on the river, but I wasn't sure if the levels are ok yet. What do you think?

I always check the hydrograph on that river conditions web site. If the water level is below the average for this time of year, I consider it safe. Also, when you get in the area, the ramps have a dangerous level painted on the ramp. You can use that as a final warning.
