  • Heading to Jonas Green 6/2/2013

I plan on heading to Jonas Green on Sunday. Launching at 7:30am . I will do a little jigging and trolling. Perch and Rocks are my targets. Mustafa, Foursteps24 are also going to be there and maybe SurfDog. Anyone else is welcome to come.

Good luck, check out my report from today. SLOW jigging by the piers got me some nice Perch.

Went yesterday morning, caught 8 croakers 8-12 inches. I was fly fishing up above the big mooring ball on the north side of the river.

Never tried fly fishing for croaker before. What were you using for croaker on a fly? Clouser? Were you using a sinking or floating line?

A shrimp fly pattern I tied from a lefty kreh youtube video....I used floating line with an 8 ft leader. Fished in 10-5 ft of water.
