freshwater reels

what reels do you guys use for freshwater? ive been using a 10 year old shimano stradic 2500 which has been a tank, considering it has never been washed or lubed and i cant tell you how many times the bail as been bent back after being stepped on.

a month ago i got a daiwa sol 2500 on ebay so we'll see how this one does. still need a matching rod though
