  • Monday June 17 at the flats

Planning on going if the weather permits to put in at Tydings. Found some nice grass beds loaded with large mouth bass not too far from there, about two miles. Hope to see you there and catch some bigguns on frogs.

Well, the weather forecast is iffy but I plan on being there unless it is raining and too breezy in the morning.

Rookie here... What's a good address to google for the flats? Bought a lowrance elite 4x today and the salemans was talking the flats up today. He said it was shallow but had good fish in it. Told me to use a super spook top water lure. Thanks in advance .

There are some nice fish holding grass beds about a mile out from furnace bay which is accessible via the Perryville Park Ramp which is in Furnace Bay and is only for kayaks and canoes and is free. If you launch at Tydings Marina in Havre de Grace then work the shoreline along Back Channel going south about a mile or so and then head out to buoy 11. There is grass holding bass around there also.
