So, I decided to go fishing with my Daughter on father's day. We launched at pohick bay and had a field day with the bass. There was a good size group of kayakers about ready to launch and One of them mentioned this site so I figured I'd register and check it out. I live in Manassas, try to get the yak to the water at least once a week and live to fish.....Hopefully I'll find a lot of useful information here and will have the opportunity to fish with some of you!

Welcome aboard- The forum is a warm and hospitable place for kayak fishermen (and women) to exchange information and setup fishing trips- if you post a few days in advance you usually get some company on the fishing trip- last minute posts are harder, but even then you can meet a new fishing friend- that's how I have met all my kayak fishing buddies- right here-
