Rod Leash in 5 minutes for $5 or <

Recently saw a post that had a lot of interest about how a lot of people lost their rod. Here is my version of the rod leash that I like cause it is low profile around the rod and reel with minimal interference when casting.

Here is how well it holds and the parts to make it.

Parts:

- 6" Gear Tie ( Qty. 2 from REI or Bass Pro - $5 ish)
- Paracord ($3 for 50' at Home Depot)
- Velcro tie ($5.50 for qty. 50 at Home Depot)
- Carabiner ( I prefer small ones)
