I had a bite of perch/spot/croakers on bloodworms within 30 seconds on each of my casts. 90% of my casts caught one of those fishes in the range of 6 inches to 10 inches. I tried live lining and jigging for the first time with spot and perch but I didn't get any bites from the stripers. I will try again soon. Hopefully I can go with someone who has more experience on jigging and live lining for those stripers.

I'm available any Thursday to Sunday... Benefits of being a full time student again. I've been live-lining on charters before. The challenge from a yak is finding the fish since our travel is limited. But the concept is pretty easy. The last time we went we simply hooked spot just forward of their dorsal and tossed them out to swim free. The bite was easy (fighting thru the bluefish wasn't to get the rockfish).
I have a kayak rigged with a fish finder so any time and I'm game. I live in Severn so its not that far for me to get to SPSP.
Tight lines!

Mmacro, sounds awesome! I am going to try it again soon. I am also a full time student but I have work during the summer until 4 or 5 usually. So near during early july, i will try to go out. I will head out again probably next Saturday or this Saturday.Hobie Revolution 13

I'm going to do some crabbing Sunday morning... With a little croaker fishing between checking traps. Not Sure where I will put in at. I'm in the military and I just found out last week that I can use the boat facilities on the Naval Academy to put my kayak in at. (I have a trailer and Jonas Green Park is car-top only) So I may try the academy side of the river and see how I can do.
