  • Last minute opportunity to fish Sat morning on my boat

I fished out of Sandy Point in my center console this afternoon. I had lackluster success at the sewer pipe and the east side bridge pilings, but did find another spot that was red hot. In 1.5 hours, I caught an estimated 50 stripers on light tackle (mostly 14" - 16"), including a 20" rock that came home for dinner. I left the fish biting.

I had such a good time today, that I decided on the spur of the moment to head back out to the same spot for an hour or two tomorrow. My 16' Scout is an excellent fishing platform for 1 or 2 anglers. I have room for one other person if anyone wants to go on short notice. You could meet me at my home near Annapolis or at Sandy Pt. My target time for launching is 8:00 am and I plan to be back to Sandy Pt by noon.

If interested, send me a pmail. I will check up until 10:00 tonight.

John Foley got the spot. There are likely to be other similar opportunities later in the year.
