So if all goes according to plan I should have my tandem sit on top kayaks this friday. I actually bought two for the wife and kids. I didnt go all out and buy an expensive brand since we are just starting out. I think its a unpopular brand seeing that I cant find many reviews on it. They are the Crescent Kayak Splash 2 and Fisher Xtreme 2. Got two for a great deal so we will see how they handle. Once kids get comfortable enough in the kayak we will be doubling it up as a fishing/crabbing boat. Hopefully I will get a chance to see some of you out there and can show me the ropes on kayak fishing. Im usually fishing the Bay and its been really crowded this year from land so I wanted a little piece of solitude while fishing. It was either a kayak or another boat. Wife said kayak so here goes!
