  • SRRKC summer perch tournament

    Here is a fun perch tournament opportunity for MKF members.

    The Severn River Rod and Keg Club announces its 2013 Summer White Perch Tournament, which runs during Aug and Sept. This is open to all interested parties, including MKF members. Perch can be caught in any Chesapeake Bay waters. Fish should be photographed next to a measuring device for entries.

    The basic rules are:

    Date: August & September
    Type: Two Month-long; Post photo showing length
    Location: Chesapeake Bay
    Entry Fee: $10 per person; $25 per family (husband, wife and your children)
    Prizes:
    1. Single Longest White Perch: 50%
    2. Longest Aggregate of 3: 30%
    3. SRRKC Fund: 20%

    Count me in, I had a blast doing this last year.

    Everyone who likes to perch fish more then once a week should join. its alot of fun. Makes every trip feel like a tourney almost as your hunting for the big one!
