Is anyone catching big perch

I was catching many more big perch over the last couple of month ,but the last three weeks I been catching many more small ones. I am catching very few fish over 9 inches.Still catching lots of perch but most are small.Any help on finding bigger fish?

I got into some 12"+ fish at PLO last week.

in the south river and the bay i have been using spot strips that are .5 inch wide and 2 inches long.

the spot belly works better because it is white.

also i use minnows if im after big perch

Finally caught some nice perch Sunday morning. Launched at Rocky point state park around 6 am. Fished for about three hours in 16 feet of water. Caught 12 keeper perch over 9 and a half inches. Most were over 10 inches with two at 12 inches and one big fat one at 13 inches. Only caught 2 throw backs and many catfish.
