Hello, just introducing myself

I just joined the forum, just wanted to say hello. I've wanted a fishing kayak for about 2 years now and I finally purchased one. I've only been out in the Bay once, and in freshwater about 4 times. I love this sport as I thought I would.
I've caught catfish, bluegill, perch, chain pickeral so far. I will be going out this weekend rain or shine for some rock and croaker, hopefully.
I have one of those old fashion sit on top paddle kayaks, love the idea of the mirage drive though. It is complete for fishing with rod holders, electronics, and livewell.
Hope to see some fishing kayakers in the water.

I was planning on dropping on at Matapeake on Sunday morning and fishing the shoals down to bloody point. I live up in Millersville and this is about a 20 minute drive for me. I plan on some anchor, some drift, some trolling for the trip.

thats a long way to bloody point from matapeake. going around from romancoke might be shorter

Fishing advice for the week of 3/7/12 : Find warm water.

Back of creeks, white perch spawn is on right now, pickeral active on sunny side of creeks.

Warmwater discharges for stripers.

Not quite LM Bass pre-spawn, but very soon, may be happening in warmer places.

Blue Catfish bite is now on Potomac River; huge cats on live bait.
