New to the site. Great idea and well run. Not sure why some of the pictures & videos are missing, but hey, great site anyway.

Been Kayak fishing about 2 years now. Live in the Towson area and usually fish with a neighbor of mine about every other weekend. Have fished Bush River, Lake Roland, Marina Point, Dundee Creek, Otter Point and Mattawoman Creek (Smallwood & Mattingly) - best fishing for me was Mattawoman hands down.

I would put the bag in the front of the yak just past the pegs. However, I need to take a more minimalist approach and just take what tackle/lures I need for the day. Would hate to lose "everything".

Welcome NukeMD! Less is More...don't get too ambitious with the lure selection the night before, make a game plan and stick to it. It doesn't matter though, we all stick with our favorite lures no matter what you bring, LOL

                Nuke MD,

Is that a blue pool noodle right behind the seat. What does it do? I like the hatch on your Tarpon. I used to have a Tarpon and it just had the basic rubber hatch. It would occasionally fly come off during transport. That style cover looks much better. My Tarpon however was circa 2006 or so.

It's the anchor float. Not 100% sure where I saw the idea to make it, but it is PVC pipe with notches and pool noodles at each end. The anchor line wraps in the middle and there is a quick release snap at one end that attaches to the O ring on the anchor trolley. It keeps the line neat and allows you to let out the exact amount of line you need for the anchor. Plus, if you need to release the anchor to fight a fish, it floats and you can come back and collect it later.
