As usual Doc, you are more than a week late and a sawbuck short. AND, you've stayed at the Super 8 several dozen times, they know YOU on sight (not necessarily a good thing) and you can't remember them, they won't be happy and may even refuse to let you stay there anymore and revoke their sponsorship...

But yes we'll be there Friday afternoon and early Sat & Sun. Doc fishes from a bone colored Outback and I'm in a bone PA-14. If you spot us float over and say HELLO! we'll do the same. There may be another guy in a yellow PA-14, not sure yet, but we should be easy to identify - just listen, you'll probably hear Doc singing to himself from a mile away.HOBIE: 2012 PA-14 (Dune) & 2013 PA-14 (Yellow)

Many GPS units recognize "local points of interest", which may include Mattingly Avenue Park. But as indicated above, there is only one way to get to Indianhead, MD and that is via route 210. Therefore plugging in Indianhead, MD will get you in the park (pun intended) in that you will be on route 210, so just follow it to the end at he gate to the Naval Station and take the last left turn before the gate onto Mattingly Ave. Follow Mattingly Ave about 1/3 mile and it ends right at the ramp and parking areas. Free ramp, good parking and calm waters full of bass and snakehead. If you are staying multiple days I recommend the Super 8 in Indianhead, they are boat friendly (kayaks included), offer reasonable rates and Dale's Bar-B-Que is a short walk away for some great eats at decent prices.HOBIE: 2012 PA-14 (Dune) & 2013 PA-14 (Yellow)
