Mattawoman 8/17 or 8/18

Still fairly new to the whole kayak fishing society. I am looking to venture down to Mattawoman this weekend and get the fresh water skunk off of my yak. Basically looking for any advice, tips or even a tag along. Looks as Slavin is the go to ramp to drop in and head north. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also I am looking to go after a snake head mainly for the fight, it will be a first for me.
