Weather has been strange- abnormally wet and cooler than usual...this weekend looks breezy, wet and cool- not exactly ideal kayak fishing weather, but we only have so many weekends so we fish in less than optimal conditions- species available are still prime time- specks and redfish are the top ones on my short list- next month I get serious about stripers again, but not until the keeper reds move out- love those redfish! I am still recovering from my turtle- haven't gotten everything back to the way it was- have one Lexa at the Diawa factory to be repaired from the screw snapping off- still looking for a waterproof camera- I looked hard at the Nikon AW 110- $279 at Costco...but do I really need all its bells and whistles? GPS? Wireless? The less featured Nikon waterproof is $109.00...I had the AW100 and liked it fine...replacement key for my Ford Ranger is $169 plus programming costs- Chevrolet Impala key was $34.00 including programming...thinking about hitting the water this weekend for a fishing trip...I was headed down to Tidewater to look at a 18 foot cc boat, but that impulse has passed...called and cancelled the trip-
