  • GoPro Help

I have a gopro and I use just the original editing software that came on my computer. I am looking for an advanced or higher quality editing software. If some one can recommend one I'd greatly appreciate it.

If your looking for photo editing software, check out GIMP. Its like Photoshop lite and its free.
Although i just downloaded the newest version this week and its a little harder to use than some of the other versions i've had in the past.

I'm going to assume you are using windows. If you are looking for free software your only real option (without watermarks) is going to be the software that came with it and Windows Movie Maker. Those two together aren't too bad. Now if you are a little more technologically inclined and have a system already running Ubuntu (a flavor of linux) or have something laying around you can install it on there are several Free options. I use Cinelerra (http://cinelerra.org/). The need to convert the file to AVI isn't necessary and all the editing can be done with the original file rendered by the GoPro camera. I would recommend you the Sony Movie Studio series. They are excellent tools to edit video.
