    ok..thats scary..bull sharks are biters even in texas waters a 2-3ft can do you a great deal of hurt especially wade fishing with a stringer of fish....

          Bull sharks are quite common visitors to the Bay. A predator that can tolerate lower salinity and a massive estuary that's home to tons of juvenile fish, it's no big surprise. They're only caught in pound nets every few years, but that doesn't mean they aren't here every year. They've been caught up by the Bay Bridge before as well. Nothing to really worry about in my opinion, although I guess it's possible you could get yourself a Chesapeake version of the Nantucket Sleighride.
